Hi, I’ve just been marvelling at the gorgeous paintings on your website, more beauty than I’m accustomed to finding in any one artist’s ouvre. While my favourites are your atmospheric river scenes, I’m also intrigued by your bubble/orb paintings – I’ve written a story (an unpublished manuscript) set in the contemporary Art world, titled: The Fine Art of Blowing Bubbles… If I had any say in the matter – I’d be having the publisher-to-be (she says, naively optimistic) look at your work for a cover design. Lovely stuff 🙂 My blog can be found here: http://hiatushappiness.wordpress.com/ in case you’re interested, I’ll be posting updates re the manuscript… I also discuss all manner of matters pertaining to Art, and would love to take a closer look at your work when I get time. If I do post a critique of your work on my blog I’ll let you know, so you can set me to rights if you wish to, or just laugh at it idly… I’m only a student of Art theory, essentially blogging for practice, so you’d likely be underwhelmed. Naturally if you’d prefer not to have anything to do with it, I will only respect you the more (I think it a virtue in an artist to keep clear of theorists as much as possible). But something in your work compells me, I’m afraid… Ann

    Hi lee,

I visited your studio during the Open studios on Eel Pie Island December last year and I was really impressed by your work. I am a graduate Fashion Design from University of Arts London and I am looking for someone who can teach me how to work with oil paint. I do a lot of Fashion Illustration but always use watercolours or ink for this. I never used oil paint. I was wondering how much you charge for a few lessons and on which days you give lessons. I work during the week in the city so only available in the evenings or weekend.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Best wishes,
